My wife and I were very excited the other day to get the request for a family portrait session with these three. We both have a long history with Chris and are fortunate to count he and his wife Cheryl among our good friends. Their daughter Selah was adorable as she was going through all her various faces and moods. She definitely gets her character from Chris. Thanks you three for the good times at the park!
Gisselle and Joe brought their two adorable little girls down to the beach for a little family portrait session. The girls had fun digging through the sand and collecting shells while Mom and Dad tried to keep them away from the approaching high tide. Good times were had by all. Here are a few of my favorites:
These guys were a blast to shoot. They also showed me a new spot that is quickly becoming one of my favorites. That's two points for them!
The fun started just before I got there with one of the kids falling into the water. Ok maybe that wasn't so fun... but it definitely makes a good story and, after a fresh change of clothes, he was as good as new. Later, as I was shooting the individual families, the opposing siblings were heckling each other. It was a great way to get some smiles; I highly recommend it. These are definitely my kind of people.
Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. Thanks for being such fun!
When Rosa & Geoff contacted me a few weeks ago about shooting their engagement photos, I was really excited. I hadn't seen Geoff since our days playing basketball together in high school. It was really good to catch up and see how well he's doing. They decided to do the shoot at The Sunken Gardens & Courthouse in Santa Barbara and the weather couldn't have been nicer. Thanks for the good times you two and I look forward to the wedding!
My friend Dana from Blessed Beyond Belief Photography contacted me the other day to take some photos for her upcoming birthday. Of course I said yes as it is always an honor to be asked to take pictures by another photographer. She left the location to me so I just drug her all over Arroyo Grande to all my favorite places. A good time was had by all and I think the shots came out great. Happy Birthday Dana!
